3D Patternmaking no cutting challenge
Our second full project in my draping class was to use a 3 yard piece of fabric to create an original dress design. The catch was that we had to use all three yards—without cutting the fabric at all! We were allowed to use an extra half yard of fabric for straps or other notions. I used a series of pleats and folds to create a form fitting sweetheart neckline dress
